  1.             Batching
  2. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. The task of computing orbits and Poincare sections can be initiated 
  4. as a background process, thereby freeing the program for other tasks.
  5.  
  6. (1) Since the batch program returns the result by writing to a file 
  7.     as specified in the text items {File} and {Dir} on the save/load 
  8.     panel, first make sure they are  properly specified before 
  9.     batching. 
  10.  
  11. (2) To batch a given task, select the button {Batch} on the main 
  12.     panel, after setting the kaos parameters.
  13.  
  14. (3) When the batch job is finished, a notification message is sent 
  15.     to the message area and the parent window.  Load the file by 
  16.     selecting the button {Load} on the save/load panel.
  17.  
  18. The tasks which can be batched at the current time are:
  19.  
  20.     (a) Iteration and integration
  21.     (b) Poincare section computation
